Hi! We're Alysha and Chris Johansen, your local microgreens farmers in South Jordan, Utah.

Our farm, NutriGrowers Microgreens, is a small "direct to community" urban farm that offers convenient home deliveries around the Salt Lake Valley. We specialize in growing four varieties of the most popular and nutrient-dense microgreens: broccoli, peas, sunflowers, and radishes.

Our adventure with growing these amazing, tiny greens started when Alysha quit her full time job as a realtor to stay at home with our sweet boy, Peter. She wanted to continue doing something from home, and as we explored different ideas for interesting and rewarding pursuits, we came across microgreens for a second time. This was the perfect venture for us because it coupled our love for plants – our house is full of plants – and growing things with our passion for personal health.

Chris has been working in the health & nutrition industry for decades as a part of his family's nutritional supplement company. He has great knowledge of nutritional foods and enjoys sharing that knowledge with people to help them boost their health. Consequently, eating microgreens has been a perfect addition to our nutrition, so we are excited to share these small but powerful superfoods with you!

Growing and eating microgreens has been rewarding for our whole family in many ways,  particularly now we have a perfect little human that we're trying to teach valuable life skills and healthy eating habits.  He's learning the value of growing his own clean foods and the science behind cultivating plants, while enjoying eating delicious greens.

As your local farmers, we take great pride in delivering healthy, organic, environmentally-conscious food right to your door.  Our mission is to help our community eat healthier, cleaner, more nutrient-dense veggies one person at a time (especially kids). We look forward to growing for you!
